Gunn is famous for her character Skyler White in Breaking, an AMC drama series Breaking. She was nominated in 2013 and in 2014 in an award called the Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding acting support on a drama show for her performance. In August 2013 she wrote a piece in an op-ed piece for The New York Times that examined the dislike shown by the public towards her role.
