Jennifer Tilly has won an Academy Award for her work as an American-Canadian and is also a professional poker player. Tilly was was raised in Los Angeles in the United USA. Her first appearance as an actress in 1983 in the tv show "Oh Madeline" in which she played an unimportant role. Her debut film role was 1984's "No Small Affair". Since then, she has been unstoppable. She appears on multiple projects throughout the year. Her acting career began with a bang. The beginning of her career was marked by small roles in shows like "Hill Street Blues," "Cheers," and "Frasier." It is more than what a new actor could have expected. The Woody Allen film "Bullets over Broadway," she received the long-awaited break that made her an Academy Award nominee for Best Supporting Actress.
